In crafting this space, paramount importance was placed on providing not only a studio-like common area amalgamating the entrance hall and kitchen-living room but also a fully equipped bedroom with ample storage solutions. Leveraging the ceiling height, a second level was ingeniously incorporated into the apartment, meticulously engineered to ensure the homeowner's comfort and ergonomic functionality across both levels. Transforming a standard one-room apartment within a 9-story building into a vibrant and snug space, while adhering to structural safety regulations prohibiting alterations to partitions and openings, posed a creative challenge. With minimal changes to the layout due to safety restrictions, only the slanted balcony was integrated into the living space, and the bathroom was slightly expanded to accommodate a spacious 90x90 shower and custom furniture housing a washing machine. The apartment's style is best described as modern eclecticism with a touch of colonial influence, occupying a total area of 35 sq. m.Kharkiv,Ukraine.

The owner of these apartments initially had to purchase two adjacent units to realize her dream - a classical interior rich in artistic details, requiring considerable scale. The apartments are divided into two zones: the dining-guest area, which includes spaces like the kitchen-dining room and living room, and the private zone, consisting of three bedrooms each with its own ensuite bathroom.Lavish neo-baroque elements characterize this opulent interior, abundant with expensive materials, custom artistic paintings, and furniture. Each item and detail, along with color combinations, were meticulously planned and executed, aiming to create an interior that blends various styles and epochs, retaining its charm for years to come. The main request from the client was to create a classical atmosphere abundant in decorative and artistic elements, in rich tones but not museum-like or overwhelming, achieved through thematic painted murals, abundant ornate plasterwork, wooden panels, stained glass, and colorful textiles. The abundance of artworks and expressive details is overwhelming, creating a uniquely vibrant atmosphere in this home. The result is truly exquisite apartments for connoisseurs of luxury and comfort.
